Create an Offer
An offer is an advertising link that can be received from an affiliate network or direct advertiser.
Name your offer and add a parameter for {clickid} token to mark visitors and conversions within the tracker.
All other settings like Payout and Daily Cap are optional. Also, here you can copy Postback URL for conversions from your Affiliate network if you are using one.
Add a traffic source (EvaDav) from the template
The offer promotion process begins at the traffic source and guides visitors along the campaign funnel.
Just choose EvaDav’s template from the list with all the main settings and parameters already set and ready to receive conversions/leads:
As you can see on the screenshot with tokens, PeerClick’s external_id is the corresponding parameter for EvaDav’s {CLICKID} token.
Parameters and tokens define what data to pass from the traffic source (EvaDav) to PeerClick. They will be added to your target URL automatically in the campaign settings. You can find more info on all available tokens in your EvaDav dashboard at https://evadav.com/advertiser/tracking
Create Campaign
Campaign type
Redirect - tracking through the PeerClick's campaign URL. Within this option, you can rotate both, landers and offers, in your campaign.
Direct - tracking through direct tracking URL and pixel without an initial redirect. Lander rotation is not supported, but you can still rotate offers in your campaign.
Please note: Tracking domain should be set up beforehand in Domains settings.
The domain should be externally purchased and connected with the default PeerClick tracking domain. Please find more info on setting up domains in the tracker’s documentation.
The direct URL option is often used when a traffic source does not support redirect tracking with third-party domains so the tracking domain and offer page must be on the same domain.
For example: If the offer page with conversion pixel installed is https://offerlink.com/some_page?clickid={clickid} then the tracking domain and Target URL at EvaDav should look like https://track.offerlink.com?...
EvaDav supports redirect tracking with separate domains so you can use affiliate smart links and route traffic as you wish.
Destination
Path - the path of the visitor to the offer.
Direct linking - visitor goes straight to the offer without a lander.
Flow - pre-set paths.
URL/My Target - simple direct target URL.
Traffic source
Here you should choose a traffic source you’ve set from a template earlier - EvaDav.
Tracking
Domain name - tracking domain that will be used for your campaign.
Campaign URL - target URL which you should paste in the campaign settings at EvaDav:
All main tokens are already set and you are ready to go live at EvaDav but we highly recommend doing a test conversion first, using generated test data for tokens at https://evadav.com/advertiser/tracking
Direct tracking pixel - is an alternative tracking method that allows you to track visits to campaigns without being redirected from the tracker to the landing/offer. This speeds up the process of redirecting visitors from the traffic source to your landing page since there is no unnecessary redirection - all users go directly to the page. Can be used alongside the conversion/postback pixel or script on the Thank You page, you can get it at https://panel.peerclick.com/#/settings/tracking_urls
Postback pixel - tracking pixels operate on the basis of cookies, therefore they are not dependent on the click ID transmitted in the offer URL. The value of the click ID is stored in the original cookie registered for this visitor, so conversion tracking will work even if the parameter has not been transmitted to the offer. You can get a direct link to the pixel at https://panel.peerclick.com/#/settings/tracking_urls
