Push notifications

Push is a classic pop-up message with a title, description, and image.

Mechanics

First, users are asked to subscribe to notifications from the website. By agreeing, the user enters the subscription database of the advertising network. Even if users enter this site once, they will receive push notifications until they have unsubscribed or cleared the cookies.

The push format does not transfer personal data to third parties, is effective for most verticals, and is available in all geo.

Ad payment models:

– CPC;

– CPM.

How to make creatives for push format?

Add a thumbnail and main image, triggering title and concise description. You can see how the pop-up notification will appear on the user screen by clicking Preview.

Pros:

  • the large traffic volume - more than 3 billion displays daily;

  • available in all geo;

  • shows high conversion in almost all verticals;

  • push notifications are visible due to their appearance in the visible area of the screen;

  • has a large picture for desktop devices;

  • precise targeting is possible for many parameters - geo, OS, browser, telecom operator, frequency, and language.

Cons:

  • push disappears after a few seconds;

  • creatives need to be updated, as even the most effective over time "burn out" and show a smaller CR;

  • need to study the target audience well to make creatives and bundles that will show high CR and CTR;

  • does not cover users of iOS devices;

  • clearing cookies leads to the deletion of the subscription. The user must go back to the site and subscribe;

  • push is sensitive to browser locks.

Evadav tip:

It is crucial to make several creatives in one advertising campaign, carry out A/B tests and leave only the most effective. Remember that even the best creatives sooner or later fade out. Create new ones, explore the audience, competitors, and market to be in trend.
